(bottle) Clear, deep amber to chestnut-brown colour with a beige and firm medium-sized foamy head. Toasted malty aroma with notes of bread crusts, caramel, as well as herbal-spicy and subtle citrus-fruity hops. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a soft carbonation. Hearty dark malt character with caramel, hints of Blockmalz and a present herbal hoppy background; balanced sweet-bitter finish with toasted grains and herbal hoppy spice. Well-crafted Lager. 02.IX.17

Euro-Flasche: Clear, chestnut-amber amber coloured, medium-sized stable and lacy off-white head; sweet-bitter dark-malty nose with a distinctive herbal-hoppy counterpart; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied and soft; lingering and slightly drier sweet dark-malty and rural hoppy finish with almost some chocolatey traces. Very well drinkable franconian Bier from Rittmayer...
