(swing top bottle) Cloudy, yellow colour with a big and dense foamy white head. Light-sweet, slightly fruity (citrus) and wheaty nose with a distinctive touch of spicy phenols and cloves. Light-sweet and sour flavour, dry mouthfeel with a lively carbonation. Wheat-malty, moderately citrus-fruity and slightly chalky taste with clovy and peppery spicy notes; moderately dry and quite slim, restrained fruity, clove-spicy finish. A tad too spicy for my liking, but I appreciate its dryness (30.06.08).

Bottle, 5.2%. OK spicy aroma, hint of plastic. Hazy yellow colour. Fizzy white head. The flavour has some cardboard and plastic, though not too bad, along with a little spice. Drinkable, but by no means great.

WOW, furst person in five and half years to rate this. Too bad, the rest of you don’t know what you are missing from this hefe that looks the same as usual, but trust me it is much better than your Erdinger or whatnot. Supreme clovey, banana, lemony nose. The mouth has exotic clovey flavors like I have never seen shine through in a hefe before. The lemon and bananas are the fruity backup. well-balanced, refreshing, dry finish.
