Bottle thanks to Silke, direct from the source. Wood smoke aroma with mild bacon undertones. Taste is bittersweet with increasing tartness at the end. Well rounded and inviting. Medium bodied, above average carbonation. Nice!

Many thanks for this beer to Beerhunter111. Poured murky amber color with very little to no head. Aroma of smoke, meat and dark fruits.

100cl swing top bottle. Pours almost clear dark amber colour with a mid-sized most good lasting beige head. Aroma of smoked malt, bacon, sweetish red malt. Taste of bacon, the smoke is well present, sweet malt, red malt, some caramel.

Deutlich rauchiger Antrunk, der durch die Süße süffig und weich wird. Spritzig, die Rauchigkeit bleibt auf hohem Niveau, mild herb, was zum Ende etwas steigt. Rundes gutes Rauchbier. 12/12/13/12//12

Draught at the brauhaus
Hazy dark amber color; compact head. Nice aroma, smoked malt, mild. The body is lean, the mouthfeel quite dry, but the smoked malt flavor is good, also a bit biscuity; it gets better as it loses some excess of carbonation, but the sweetness is still absent; more roasty character in the final. Well made.
