Sample from bottle @ Sur & Bitter, Sandnes. Pours hazy light yellow, with a small creamy head. Aroma is tart hay and citrusy lemon, herbal hoppy notes, as well as malty notes of cereals. Medium body, with average carbonation. Flavour is bitter herbal and citrusy hops, with light malty notes of cereals and honey, as well as some dry wooden yeast in the finish.

On tap at Patrick’s. An almost clear one, rather pale golden in color and with a dense, finger thick white head. Lacing. Grassy, lightly fruity nose with biscuity pale malts and then even more grass. It’s smooth, medium bodied and quite dry on the palate, with a fine bitterness, and flavors of grass, pale malts and a faint piney, citrusy hint. Long grassy finish with pine cones and some citrus. Far from the most exciting beer from this brewery, but it’s quenching and easy drinkable, could be a summer hit. 160407

Tap @ Patricks. Slightly unclear, pale golden body with a small, lacing white head. Aroma is light malty, some grain and slightly fruity. Flavor is mild, light and smooth pale malt/grain with mild fruit and moderate bitterness. Medium to light bodied and a bit short in aftertaste. Kölsch isn’t exactly my favorite style but this one is more than less as typical as they come, slightly more fruity than a pilsner and feels softer/smoother. Quite refreshing as a beer for a hot summer day or moving lawn, otherwise not very exiting. Watch out lager boys!
