Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Light sweet and moderate bitter flavor. Average light bitter finish. Some esters present. Straneg but nice beer. Oily palate.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel.

Bottle 25cl.Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20081004]

33 cL bottle, courtesy of fonefan. Pours slight cloudy orange with a diminished white head. Spiced and mild yeasty aroma. Smooth malty and slight roasted, light dried fruity accent. Mild oxidised. Lingering yeasty and caramelish finish.

Bottle, best before June 2007 Slightly hazy, amber body. The same haziness as wort has. Off-white frothy head, which diminishes fastly. Nose of hops (with some citrus) and of medium malts (caramel, ...). Quite ok. Moderately bitter beer with some malty sweetness. Bitterness of hops, but in a Belgian way (not the American way). I quite like the flavour. Ok drinkable beer.

Pale orange gold, small but very dense, snowwhite head, leaving textbook lace. Coriander, grapes, lunaria, pale malts, bit of caramel - rather inviting nose. Dry, perfumed taste, again with clear, but restrained coriander. Pale malts, fruity impression with good, discreet yeast esters. Medium bodied, grist slickness, slight alcoholburn. Pleasing beer, simple but straightforward & clean. No necessity to be more. Does it sound reasonable that Iām a bit surprised by the other ratings?

(Bottle 25 cl) According to the back label this was made by "Brouwerij Weldebroec" in Willebroek (closed in 1999). Golden beer with a nice, tall head. But the appearance promises way too much: no bitterness, no sweetness, no malt - nothing whatsoever. A strangely bland brew. Disappointing beer from Weldebroec which I remember best from their excellent "Vaartlander" beers. 190999
