„Zum Hirschen“ ist eine spritzige und frische Bierspezialität, die mit einer Stammwürze von 11 % besonders leicht und süffig daher kommt. Bei der Hefeauswahl haben wir uns für einen deutschen obergärigen Hefestamm entschieden. Dieser sorgt für eine ausgewogene Vollmundigkeit.

Cloudy, light yellow in color with a three-finger head. Aroma is grains with a very light hint of fruit. Taste is mostly grains with straw.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is hard to come by. Some wheat malt I guess. Flavor is also hard to come by. Again a bit of chewy wheat malt is about it. Does not fit into any German style category. This was bland and boring.

500 ml bottle. Cloudy apricot coloured, big head. Grapefruit, tangerine, a lot of yeast, chalky and milky. Citric sourness and bitterness. Oily texture, soft to low carbonated, sour dry finish, light bodied. Weird stuff, too much yeast and feels quite homebrewed, but drinkable and refreshing in some way.

50cl bottle. A slightly hazy deep golden beer with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of soft metallic hops, flowers and grainy malt. Taste of grainy malt, miild sweet malt, metallic hops, meh...

(bottle) Cloudy, golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Discreet aroma of slightly grainy and earthy malt with delicately fruity notes of citrus and peach, as well as yeasty spice in the background. Mildly bitter-tart flavour, light bodied with a tame carbonation. Slightly earthy malty and chalky taste with fruity, phenolic and yeasty notes; dry and slim bitter and fruity tart finish. Meh. 05.IX.17

Euro-Flasche: Cloudy, a bit dish-water-like coloured, quickly collapsing loose off-white head; mild grainy-dusty nose, some fruity-yeasty, but also metallic traces underneath; mild sweetish-sourish flavour, low bitterness, pretty light bodied but fizzy; yeasty-wheaty finish, accompanied by some cellary flavours. Oh no! One of the worst Göller beers...
