Clear, dark amber color and a white head. Nose is rather malty, oberripe tropical fruits and decaying sweetness. Taste follows the nose, malty, bitter hoppy finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Ludwig's India Pale Ale on 09 Oct 2023 at 20:33 - Score: 6. Mild hopfiger Beginn mit säuerlichem Touch, infiziert wirkend. Spritzig, der Hopfen verschwindet schnell, kurzer Abgang. Hm... 8/7/8/7/7/7

Prost!

330ml bottle. Milky, dark amber colour with absurdely huge, frothy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, off-white head. Slightly waxy, minimally soapy, piney, hoppy aroma, hints of spruce, coniferes in gerneral, a fruity touch of red currant, dusty yeasty overtones. Taste is slightly sweet caramel malty and fruity hoppy, notes of red currant. So-so.

(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, amber to copper colour with a big and loose, off-white foamy head. Yeasty, fruity and slightly worty aroma with notes of dark and red berries and a whiff of cacao. Moderately sweet and delicately bitter flavour, medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Mildly toasasted malt character with traces of caramel, backed by fruity hoppy accents; sweet and slightly bitter hoppy finish with traces of chocolate in the aftertaste. Perhaps an English IPA … 30.VIII.17
