25 cL bottle, courtesy of fonefan. Pours clear and golden orange with a diminished white head. Mild sweet and fruity with a dense malt base in the aroma. Sweet malty flavoured with a little metallic note and mild bitterness showing through from the light roasted malt base. Mild fruity accent into the far finish.

Bottle, 5%. 3 months past BB date. Vinous aroma. Clear amber colour. Small white head. The flavour is teaish and slightly spicy. Quite mild, but clean.

Bottle 25 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Clear, deep golden with a small, off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt and fruit. Medium body with dry roasted malts and fruit, perhaps even a whif of cinnamon. Finishes dry. Great with a classical Belgian Speciale - been a long time. 281108

On tap at Het Ankertje, Mechelen, Belgium.
Pale amber coloured, medium sized beige head, surprisingly fruity nose. Strange lactic fruit yoghurt taste with notes of vanilla and not so pleasant metallic finish. Too old or spoilt keg???

Red brown colour. Dry flavour with a balanced mix of malt and hop. In the style of Pal but lacking a full flavour. Would make a nice session beer.

Pale amber beer, with small white head, fast gone. Parsley, cookie- and toasted malts, a bit grassy (served extremely cold); sweet forestearth, if that is possible). Almonds, cookie malts, a touch of alcohol (despite its low ABV) in the taste. If the sample wasn’t so cold, it would be very alcoholic-sweet. Almondy taste strengthens with warming up. Light to medium bodied. Decent for Haacht standards. Alcohol more obvious than expected. If it is meant to refer to Aerts 1900 of yesteryear, it is a life-size disaster.
