hop: Saazhop
mout: Pils- (gerst), chocolade- (gerst) en tarwemout, havervlokken
temp: 4-6°C
Vol. % alc.: 8,5

750 ml. bottle sampled @ O.B.E.R. Kestbierfestival 2014. (Thx!) Dark brown, beige bubbles. Nose is varnish, sweet mocha & spices. Taste is grainy cheap chocolate & coffee, grounds, malt, milk chocolate. Okay.

Tap @ Dijleschuimers Bierproeffestival 2014. Dark brown, black colour, dark beige foam. Aroma of coffee and roasted malts. Roasty bitterness, light sweet fruity notes. Well balanced. Maybe a bit thin. Good beer.

13/XII/14 - on tap @ Dijleschuimers Bierproeffestival (Kessel-Lo) - BB: n/a (2014-1497) Thanks to the Antwerp Zythos crew and others for sharing beers at the table!

Clear dark brown beer, creamy beige head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: sweet, lots of chocolate milk, bit spicy, cocoa powder. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet malts, caramel, dark chocolate, little bitter, soft roasted flavours. Aftetaste: some chocolate, cocoa powder, little bitter. Good beer, but would not call this a "stout"...
