0,33l bottle at home from trade with Erzengel, big thanks. black color, small tan head. smells nutty, marzipan, wood, some liqueur notes, berry notes, bit earthy. very nice smell. full body, light to medium carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of booze, nuts, wood, some blueberries, marzipan. finishes lightly boozy with notes of wood, nuts and blueberries. rather nice one, not overly complex but very smooth to drink. great one.

Spritzig hopfiger, wässrig herber Beginn. Süßlich hopfig bei milder Würzigkeit. Vollmundig, gut. 10/10/8/9//9

Sampled @ 3. Mainzer Craftbier Messe 2017. A dark brown beer with a small tan head. Aroma of vanilla, dark malt, wood, Whiskey, dark red fruits. Taste of dark roasted malt, Whiskey, wood, coffee, great.

On tap @ Craft Mainz 2017. Great calvados wood in the nose. The beer starts heavy and fruity. Lots of blueberries together with calvados wood. The beer body is smooth, great fruity back, intense fresh and deep. Fantastic fruity woody aftertaste. Great!
