Perła Porter Bałtycki to piwo dolnej fermentacji.

330ml bottle. Opaque, darkest brown colour with average, thick, firm, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige head. Slightly chocolately, roasty-spicy, dark malty aroma, hints of liquorice, a touch of dark chocolate and treacle. Taste is slightly sweet, minimally tart-ish, dark malty, slightly spicy and minimally chocolately, hints of liquorice, a touch of treacle, caramel, plum wine. Surprisingly watery texture. Neither overly rich nor complex, well hidden alcohol.

bottle from eBrowarium. Deep brown, almost black with a mid-sized beige head. Sweet aroma with caramel. Full-bodied, rather sweet start, lots of caramel, low in chocolate and coffee flavours, but with sugary spices. Smooth and velvety palate.

Bottle. Pours hazy dark brown with airy but stable light tan head. Clear aroma of malt and caramel, with notes of yeast and fruit. Sweetish flavour of the same ingredients, with bitter, roasty notes. Roasty and barrellike aftertaste with notes of yeast and mild acidic hints. Not bad but rather sweet for the style.
