Hazy amber with a foamy head. Straightforward banana aroma with yeasty undertones. Taste is mildly sweet most of the way through with a touch of mineral bitterness at the back. Medium bodied, prickly carbonation, a bit oily. Simple in the end, but not unpleasant.

50cl bottle. A slightly hazy golden beer with a huge most good lasting off-white head. aroma of clove, wheat and phenolic esters. 500ml bottle. Cloudy, amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Wheaty, slightly yeasty spicy and grassy hoppy aroma, a grainy and leafy touch, hints of spelt, banana and banana leaves, some clove. Taste is slightly dry, wheaty, hints of banana, banana peel, cautious yeasty spiciness, a minimally bready touch, some grassy hop. Nice balance - typical Weizen flavours with lower than average sweetness.

Bottled, from Biershop Bayern. Cloudy orange colour, rich creamy head. Candyish phenolic nose with winegums and mashed banana. Sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Sugared banana, some herbal spice. Low bitterness.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Deep golden, murky, cloudy,loose off-white head, moderate grainy-wheaty nose with a sourish-fruity background, bananas detectable; moderate to solid sourish-sweet flavour, almost medium bodied, chewy MF; lingering - relatively dry - wheaty-yeasty and sourish finish with shy sweet malty counterpart in the aftertaste. Hazy yellow colour, OK white head. The flavour is a little sweet with some banana. Grainy!

(swing top bottle, as Original Weisse, 5.3% abv) Slightly hazy, deep golden colour with a big and loose, slightly off-white foamy head. Mildly sourish wheaty and slightly cara-malty aroma with a touch of banana and clovy spice. Slightly sweet and sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a spritzy carbonation. Initially sour wheaty taste with citric and banana-fruity notes, getting more and more cara-malty and sweet towards the finish with bearable phenolic spices and a tinge of vanilla in the aftertaste.
