Danke an Erzengel. Trockener Antrunk von weichem Kaffee. Dunkles Malz, Espresso, wenig vergorene Fruchtnoten. Röstig, geringe Herbe, süffig. Monoton, durch die komplexen Kaffeenoten trotzdem interessant. 10/11/10/11/9/11

Bottle bought in Dublin. roast and coffee with hints of malt. Nice dry, refreshing with caramel and grain. Sessionable smooth, dry and mild with roasted grainy hints in the back. Nice.

Bottle from Dicey Reilly’s, Ballyshannon [140414]
Black, ruby edges in glass, large frothy beige head, good lacing
Aroma of good quality coffee, soft roasted malts, fruity dark malts, red berry fruits, soft burnt notes, dry wood, lots of coffee
Taste of mellow roast black coffee, roasted malts, dab of bitter dark chocolate, sweet dark fruity malts, red berry fruits, dark jammy fruits, lots of fruity dark coffee
Palate - soft carb, medium body, smooth texture, bit sticky, fairly sweet malts with bitter coffee roast, palate seemed a bit claggy. Finish as main flavour, bit of dry roast, dark fruity malts
Overall - Very fruity coffee porter, maybe a bit overloaded with coffee, but still decent - would like to try this on cask. I had this room temperature (as usual for stouts / porters) but I felt this would have benefited cooling a bit in the fridge.
