Bottle @ Cantillon. Hazy deep red pour with a small pink head. Heavy fruity & funky nose with tons of almost overripe dark grapes, cracker malts, lemon juice, hay, minerals, wood & a hint of chocolate even. Very port wine like. Tiny sweet, slightly sour, heavy fruity & slightly funky taste. Slightly dry, tart & tiny berry skin astringent mouthfeel. Lovely soft & complex grape lambic. Heavy port wine like fruit character. Incredibly rich & tasty.

23/09/2017 - 25cl glass @Moeder Lambiek Fountains. Murky red, brown with purple hue. Nice foamy head. Nose is sour, berries, wine. Taste is sour, berries, grapes, dry wine, aspects of Oud Bruin, some oak, damn complex, probably the best Cantillon I had so far.

Bottle @ the brewery, shared with Tom; Thanks! Dark red colour, white foam. Nose of grapes, lots of berries, funk, basement. Taste is sweet juicy with lots of funk, lambic notes. Also rather bitter notes. Very well balanced. Very nice fruit gueuze.

Bottle at the brewery. Pours clear dark ruby with a white foam. Aroma is healthy funky with sweet grapes and some cherry. Body feels like a red wine with champagne carbonation: Medium, fizzy carbonation, fruity sweet grapes, clearly fermented. Lingering funky palate. Very, very good.

42nd Floor Bottleshare. Thanks to Dan, big thanks! Opaque blackcurrant colour beer, a few mauve bubbles for a head. Palate is smooth and semi dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Rich red wine and modest oak. Just a little sourness. Red berries and wine skin tannins. Some darker berries on the finish. Amazing! Almost tastes like pure red wine. A rare Cantillon winner for me.
