Bottle 750ml. at [ Pre-Borefts Ratebeer Tasting ] @ Deanso’s place (former ABC Beers), Korte Koediefstraat 5 Den Haag, Netherlands 2511CE. [ As Bax Bier Kovvie Verkeerd Winterspecial ].Unclear medium amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread - coffee, sweet malt, caramel, pale malt - toasted. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, bread - coffee, sweet malt, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160922] 7-3-7-3-13

Thank you Benzai. 750 ml. bottle sampled @ Pre-Borefts Ratebeer Tasting 2016. Dark hazy brown, mocha bubbles. Nose is awful vegetable burned coffee, awfully herbal, grainy,… quite possibly the worst coffee profile I have ever had in a beer. Taste is same horrible coffee, painfully vegetable, burned, herbal, vegetable, thin, low toffee, fizzy, vegetable bodied. This is indeed wrong.

Bottle shared @ Borefts Pre-tasting. Hazy brownish color, average sized off-white to beige head. Smell and taste malts, coffee, lightly vegetal coffee, lightly cardboard, lightly bitter. Average body and carbonation. Well, not a hit, not a complete miss. Drinkable but it needs some work I’d say.

Bottle. Murky brown color with no head. Aroma is coffee powder, not much else. Taste is coffee, some brown malts and chocolate. Low carbonation. Not my thing.

Bottle at Pre-Borefts tasting. Murky dark amber with beige head. Caramel, quite herbal, old coffee dregs, mint, grass, rotten chocolate. Light sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with a bit watery feel.

Sampled @ Pre-Borefts-Tasting 2016. Trübes orange braunes Bier mit geringen weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch nach reifen dunklen Früchten, wenig Kaffee. Geschmack karamellig, hefig, reife Früchte.

Bottle at the pre-Borefts tasting, Den Haag, 2016. Poured a murky medium brown with a thin broken white head. The aroma is nutty spicy sweet malt. The flavour is moderate bitter with a sweet malt, light spice hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
