Enjoyed on tap at the brewery on my first visit. Cloudy golden-orange colour with a creamy white cap that stays well. Citrus aroma of oranges and light tropical notes. Citrus taste of orange and grapefruit juices with a soft bitterness and dryness in finish. Quite nicely balanced citrusy beer.

Keg at Fools Gold in the Bowery. Pours murky orange gold with a decent white head. Aroma is grapefruit and pineapple with a decent hoppy dankness. Taste is a really punchy tropical fruit hit with a nice bitter hoppy finish with some spicyness. Lovely stuff

Pours hazy gold into a shaker. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Tropical fruit aromas. Soft with grapefruit, meadow and weed upfront turning to marshmallow before dry pith and resin in the lasting finish.

Keg at The Farmhouse, Burlington. Cloudy golden, mid sized head. Passionfruit, grapefruit and starfruit up front. Bone dry with light-medium body and clean mouthfeel. Cucumber and starfruit, some pink grapefruit. Pleasantly dry, but a bit hard and edgy. Mid bitter finish. If there is any brewery usually living up to a hype it is HF. This beer however doesn’t, yet it is pretty good.

On tap at Torst, Brooklyn, New York, USA. A hazy light golden/ yellow coloured pour with a thin white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, orange aroma. Tastes similar, hoppy, citrus, orange, slight pine. Quite a light APA but very pleasant and easy to drink.
