2017 bottle, 9.0%, rating #12000, and Bavarian beer number 2000 - so what is better to celebrate this than a Franconian-brewed cherry-Lambic? So many thanks to Mina for traveling to Bayer Theinheim with me

Fancy bottle, 9%. Hazy red, no head, viscous, drawing ropy strings (infected with pediococcus or pectin from the fruit?). Cherry, a hint paint stripper, wood, banana peel, viscous mouthfeel, not unpleasant though, dry fruit sirup, not sweet though, quick dry, tart finish, very dry on the palate. Interesting, not unpleasant, but not a completely finished beer either.

Rund säuerlicher Beginn, intensiv nach Kirschen, Ähnlichkeiten zu Kirsch-Lambik können nicht geleugnet werden. Die Säure fährt zum Mittelteil etwas herunter, spritzig, intensiv. Die Kirschnoten isnd natürlich und halten lange an, vollmundig, langer Nachhall. Aus Franken? Wow! 9/12/13/13/11/13
