Pours unclear , rather dark , chocolaty brown . Smell is bit sweet, but rather complex . Earthy, and forest leaves. Taste is full on burnt , coal , bitter , leaves ( also burnt ) , waaw .. very intense taste ... not sure if I like it though ...

Bottle @ Van Moll Brewpub shared by Jaap. Very nice brown color with a deep dark red to purple glare coming through when held into the light, medium sized beige head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma very briefly had some hops coming through, but then quickly disappears and malts, lightly leaves and brown sugar replace it. Taste malts, brown sugar lightly, leaves, earthy, caramel lightly, brown malts, malty bitterness. Medium body and carbonation. Ok beer but definitely room for improvement.
