Bottle thanks to Nick. Pours a cloudy yellow orange with thick frothy white head that lasts leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is strong citrus and funk. Thin mouthfeel with strong funk, light citrus, oak, and nice dry finish. Good

Bottle #462 Thanks to crajun for taking this off my "wants" list! Pours clear yellow with a fleeting, small, white head. Tart apple yeasty Brett nose. The flavor is tart, fruity and clean. Spritzy, easy drinking, refreshing.

Nice slightly fizzy mediumlasting head. Aroma is fresh citrusy, mild brett, citrus peel, fresh hops, hay, flowers, rubber, grass, minerals. Taste is dry sour-ish, funky brett, hay, chalk, very ripe crowberries, mold, sorrel, soda powder, weeds. Medium bitterness, dry mouthfeel, high fizzy carbonation. Nice.

Bottle bought @ bierkompass.de. Galaxy version... Pours hazy golden with a huge frothy offwhite head that slowly dissipates while leaving some spotty trace on the glass. Smell is fruity and funky with wheat crackers, pink grapefruit juice, passion fruit, star fruit, gooseberries, hay, dry soil, pine needles, blood orange juice, mango, pineapple, leather, barnyard and lemon zest. Taste is tiny sour, slightly bitter, fruity and funky with wheat crackers, pink grapefruit juice, lime juice, blood orange juice, leather, hay, dry soil, white pepper corns, grape skins, barnyard, lemon zest, pineapple, passion fruit, star fruit and gooseberries. Mouthfeel is soft, dry, tiny astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is slightly bitter, fruity and funky with wheat crackers, pink grapefruit juice, lime juice, hay, dry soil, passion fruit, star fruit, gooseberries, purple winegums, barnyard and lemon zest. Tasty, balanced, fruity and funky treat.

Bottle. It pours a big, diminishing off-white head sure reduced to a fingerthick size. Lacings. Lots of peaches in the aroma, funky, with some barnyard, leather and citrus peel. Spiced hints, peppery hints. Peppery, almost cedar-ish flavor with peaches, pine cones, lemon peel and lots of funky notes. Some bitterness. Medium to full body, with a high but pleasant level of carbonation. Lasting citrusy, peppery and woody finish. Damn tasteful and easy drinkable this one. Lovely. 140608

Taste is fruity, tart and sourish with notes of bretta, wood, hops, grass, oak and vanilla. Finish is stuffy, grassy and tartish with loads of bretta, oak and woody notes. A bit unbalanced, quite tart and sour bretta pale ale.

On tap @ Mikkeller Bar. A cloudy deep orangey/orange looking one with a small but surprisingly lacing white top. On the nose it's light woody and hoppy with some bashing detergent fruitiness and traces of grass and brett. . Smells really good. More detergents in the taste. A bit harsh to say the least. Almost yeast smoky in a bad way. In the mouth it's mouthdrying but oily in texture while the carbonation is above average. Sour peaches with wood, burned matches, that bitter detergent and dandelions. Not the best Crooked I've had due to all that near artificial detergent bitter flacors, but still not a bad one at all. 10.01.2014
