Flesje gedeeld door Tomhendriksen.
Goudgeel troebel bier met mooie stevige schuimkraag.
Aroma van zure melk.
Smaak is zuur en licht rokerig.
Nasmaak is wrang.

Aroma of tart fruits, light citrus, lots of Brett funk, some grainy malt, mild floral notes. Flavour is light sweet and light to moderate bitter. Very dry. I love Saison and I love Brett, and this brings the funk in abundance. Could use a bit more body.

Brettalicious. Very crushable.

Bottle from Drinks Vanuxeem, Ploegsteert, Belgium. Pours a hazy light golden/yellow colour with a throthy white head. Aromas of yellow fruits, floral and herbal notes. Taste has more of the same notes again, lots of peppery spice, lemon, perfume and also an earthy hop bitterness on the dry finish. Thinnish body with quite aggressive fizzy carbonation on the palate. Decent summery thirst quencher.

On tap at Het Lagerhuys, pours a clear golden with a large white head. Aroma is quite funky and tart, with tart stone fruits, light floral notes, and melon. Flavour is full of perfumey, melony notes, and tart stone fruits. Rustic and funky but a bit chaotic. Decent.

Bottled. Hazy yellow colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is yeasty, some citrus, mild bananas and earthy. Flavour is wheat, some citrus, white pepper, mild yeasty tones with some slight spiciness to it.

Large foamy white head on an unclear pale amber coloured body. Floral, herbal & yeast aroma. Medium bodied, foamy sharp & cloying. Bitter, herbal, medicinal, vegetal & yeast tastes with a zesty citrus finish. Nice!

A dark yellow and murky beer, a head is big and blond. Aroma is nice, green apples, leather, bretta. Taste has fruitness, some flowers and sourness, hint of bretta. Medium bodied. Nicely balanced. I like this beer.

Somewhat aged sample Slow gushing to small (!) but stable white head over orange-golden beer. Very perfumey nose, lavender, and lightly coloured malts. Very perfumed, lavender, other soapy spices and somewhere a more agressive spice - galanga, ginger, laurel leaf...? Very dry, Bretty. Soft carbonation, light body. Weird if original, puzzling but not bad! Thanks to Stef!
