Bottle from Beer Planet. Very malty aroma. Taste is good, little sweet, malty, light caramel, light spice. Bit fruity. Much maltier than usual de la senne. Taste has a bit of fruit, orange, malty. Very nice. (How many times did I say malty?!) --- Beer merged from original tick of Meuri Senne on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:05 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 9 | Flavor - 9 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 9. Bottled. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, fruits, and a bit of alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, caramel, and fruit, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle at home. Bit hazy amber with shirt lastig fizzy off white head. Quite some caramel, dried apricot, quite some tea, light grass, slick sweet malts, light roasted touch like almost raw cocoa. Medium sweet and under medium bitter. Medium bodied with a bit sugary slick feel and soft carbonation. Not my fave De La Senne but a decent beer.

Bottle at home in London - sourced from Etre Gourmet, I believe. Pours clear, orange-gold with a dense, frothy white head. The nose holds lightly doughy bread, some berries, a little toasted grain, marmalade. Moderately sweet flavour with some ripening citrus fruits, orange, husky grains, mild grassy bitterness, tangerine peel, pine needles, crackers. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Fairly sweet to finish, with a measure of offsetting grassy and husky bitterness, some toasted biscuits, more crackers, rindy citrus fruits, wheat bread. Really nicely rounded and neatly layered. A solid offering.
