On tap at the brew pub Gasthof Mairwirt, Schwendt, Austria, Thursday 15th August 2019 after a short though quite hilly 12km cycle ride from Walchsee. Pours gold, quite hazy, 'unfiltered' with a white head. A little lemon, touch of spice and pepper on the nose, there is a tingling bitterness. Initially very busy carbonation, this calms, fruity with a touch of unripe melon overlaid with a soft citrussyness. Good.

On tap at the brewpub. A hazy deep golden beer with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of mild sweet grainy malt, straw, fresh spicy hops. Taste of dry spicy hops, straw, grains, sessionable.
