Our Eugene porter was aged for over a year in a Woodford Reserve bourbon barrel. We blended that with a fresher barrel in our Grundy tank, where we added the peach concentrate. The lengthy wood-aging imparts lovely barrel character - especially vanilla notes that blend harmoniously with the caramel and chocolate flavors present in the base beer. The peach adds some fruity notes to the already complex brew… A nice brew with which to finish a long day, or to sip on a chilly fall evening…

Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a black color with a tan head. Has a roasted malty woody chocolate aroma with weak hints of peaches. Roasted malty woody chocolate flavor with weak peachy hints. Has a roasted malty woody chocolate finish.

Tap at Revolution Brewing, Milwaulkee Ave, Chicago. Poured a clear dark brown with a round tan head. The aroma is rich red berry fruit alcohol and yeast. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with a roasted malt liqourice boozy alcohol rich red berry fruit palate.

Draft at Revolution Brewing, Chicago. Pours near black with a tan head. Aroma of bourbon, vanilla,licorice, booze, molasses, chocolate. Flavour is heavy sweet and bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation.
