An even more industrious version of our Working Man Mild, matriculated into a stronger and more complex Brown Ale. Toasty malt flavor, floral hops to balance, and a crisp, distinctive finish.

On tap at GABF. Pours a dark copper with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is fruity malt and toffee. Medium body, toasted malt, similar flavors to nise, good.

Tap at Revolution Brewing, Milwaulkee Ave, Chicago. Poured a clear dark brown with a very thin off white head. The aroma is fruit and malt. The flavour is medium bitter with a dry hop spicy fruit, slightly acidic palate. A beer with many complex flavours.... I just didn’t like the flavours that much.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer pours a clear dark brown color with a medium beige head that diminishes steadily. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops and roasted malt. Light body with a roasty character and flavors of bready malt, hops and chocolate. The finish is sweet with a toasted malt aftertaste. Decent all around.

Filtered amber-brown. Thin white/off-white head. Fruity amber and brown malt aroma. A touch odd, bitter caramel tones, slight burnt taste. Clean on the palates, but some faint buttery off tones. Toasty, but doesn’t nail it.
