Best before end of January 2020 on the bottle's label.
Pours pitch black, small head of tan foam, some lacing.
Smells strong, loaded with roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, anise is there but mild. Dark fruit rounds it out.
Roasted malt and dark fruit dominate the taste. Coffee sneaks up on me and becomes a major player. Bits of toffee and a mild sweetness that I possibly attribute to milk chocolate? Not sure on that.
Mouthfeel sure feels.. full. Kinda creamy, alcohol isn't hidden well; in the taste and after the swallow.
All in all, it's a very good sipper.

Aus der Flasche am 2016-05 getrunken. Hier haben die Brauer von Fyne Ales und De Molen ein Spitzen Imjnperial Stout zusammen gebraut! Wunderbar harmonisch und stimmig. Eine schöne Alternative zum Dessert!

12oz bottle pours a viscous black with plenty of creamy brown head. Nose has raisins and molasses, booze, malt, licorice, a little jammy. Flavor is quite meaty, black pudding and wild boar sausage, big with sweet black licorice and molasses, chocolate covered raisins. Full bodied and a touch sweet. Everything you want in an imperial stout.

Opaque black beer, thin light brown head. Smells of chocolate, malt, wood, fruit, alcohol. It's very smooth. Dried fruit, you can taste that it's been barrel aged, earthy malt, chocolate, a slight tangy-sour edge to it and surprisingly little backtaste. This is a big, beefy stout that goes down way too easily for the strength of it.
