Bottle. Brown with big light beige head. Caramel, brown sugar, light cocoa, raisins and dried plums. Quite sweet with light bitter finish with what seems like German hops. Medium bodied. Acceptable dubbel.

Clear dark copper colour, good fluffy tan head, stays long, good lacing. Sweet malty aroma, brown sugar, toasty, caramel, some chocolate. Taste medium malty sweet, slightly bitter, caramel, brown sugar. Medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation, malty bittersweet finish, with nutty toasted tones, very nice.

Dark brown color, smallish brown head. Prunes and raisins in the nose + some cocoa liquer. Medium-bodied. Quite sweet flavor with milk chocolate, prunes and dates. Malty and sweet dessert beer. Too sweet for my liking otherwise decent.

Bottled@AIH40 (from biernavigator). Deep ambery brown colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is raisins, some rye bread and mild berries and toffee as well. Flavour is sweetish malts, some rye bread and mild toasted notes.

250 mml Tap tasted on 06/03/2014. Nice brown colour with a very nice amber head. The principal note is the caramel in the taste and in also in the palate. Light sweet caramel finish. Nice one. Next one please!
