26/10/2019. Bottle courtesy of Boris, cheers! Pours dark maroon brown with a large lasting off-white to beige head. Aroma of caramel, red wine, nut, arrowroot biscuit, fruit, malt and rye bread. Medium plus sweetness, minimal bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, heavily fizzed carbonation. Haven't had good examples of Kvass before, this was best so far, though the level of fizz was off-putting.

33cl bottle from Bielefelder Biersalon. Highly carbonated, the beer starts fruity with a very nice dry Rye aroma. Typical Kvass aromatic there, very dry and nice. Dark bread with dark fruity parts and a sessionable body with a dry rye malty ending and a low bitterness. Very nice and interesting.

Tap at 3rd BBF. Cloudy, dark brown colour with average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, malty aroma, notes of malt lozenge, a mild touch of rye spiciness. Taste is sweet and tart-ish, malty, notes of malt lozenge, a touch of pumpernickel, rye spiciness, milk sugar, lactic acid, weak hoppy overtones. Quite beefy for 3,5% abv - nice!
