24 June 2018. At Tilburgs Bierfestival. Deputy Taster: Anke.
Hazy dark brown with a yellowish, beige head; little lacing. Aroma of vanilla, mocha, milk chocolate, praliné, hazelnut paste, whole milk, roasted malt, peanut, cream liqueur. It tastes medium malty sweet, hints of chocolate & cream, and light roasted bitter, note of coffee, faintly nutty. Bit toasty, peppery & herbal hoppy finish, yet rather short, with lingering cream. Medium body, slick to watery texture, soft carbonation. Very promising aroma, good taste, disappointing palate. Needs more punch!

Nasmaak is iets bitter.

Bottle @ Abijen’s Christmas non-tick tasting. Aroma of herbs, cinnamon and licorice. Taste is less good, with sweet licorice, caramel and sugar. Very thin and simple.
