Bottle. Dark golden color, white head. Strange aroma of smokey pepper, coffee and vanilla. Taste has some smoked malt, coffee, vanilla and a mild boozy burn. Weird, white smoked stout light be a good description.

Bottle from Mikkeller Beer Shop. Hazy amber red with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, fruity and vanilla. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. A weird beer. 040715

Strange. This is OK as an experiment as long as "white stout" doesn’t become some kind of stupid trendy style. This is the second or third I’ve had, so I worry. Lots of vanilla and chocolate. Some oak and coffee. A touch on syrupy side. Pours amber with OK head and lacing. Sweet finish with bitter touch. Tap at pizza paradiso Dupont.
