Bottle at home, from the brewery, split with JF 16/01/15. Hazed orange amber with a decent light beige covering. Nose is caramel, booze fumeage, vanilla pod, milky bar kids inside pocket, sweet candy. Taste comprises white chocolate pot, pinch of spice, caramac bar, vanilla custard, white pepper. Full bodied, fine carbonation, warming alcohol in the close. Solid enough offering if a little too sweet in places for me.

On tap at What’s Brewing. A clear, dark golden beer topped by a small, off-white head leaving some lacings. The aroma has alcohol, wood barrel, bread, chocolate, vanilla and some sweetness. Hints of dried apricots. It’s sweet and lightly warming on the palate, full-bodied and soft, with bread, chocolage and some booze. Lasting finish, warm and sweet. An intense one, packed with flavors, but sure good. Would be interesting if they could make an edition at 7-8 % ABV. 141101

Dark Orange, no head. 375ML from the MK Advent calendar. Smells strange, like just straight up wort with vanilla added. Taste is insanely sweet. way to sweet. tons of table sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, lactose, no coffee notes at all. a lot of animal cracker sweet doughy taste. strange brew.
