(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 13 Feb 2019) Dark brown colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with caramel, herbs, a touch of mint and chocolate. Malty, vinous taste with notes of caramel, chocolate, some mint and a vinous and boozy finish with a mild herbal bitterness. Full body, quite sweet. Tasty, but lots of alcohol shining through, making it a bit unbalanced. Quite nice.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Beer in the glass dark brown, small head. Roasty-malty aroma. Starts woody-malty, light alcoholic, spicy. Light fruity touch. Finish well balanced, alcohol is well hidden. Warming-malty finish. Nice!

75cl bottle shared with Erzengel. A hazy orange brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of dark resinous hops, pine, caramel, dried fruits and cita. Taste of caramel, pine, bitter citrusy hops, dried fruits, long bitter finish!

Bottle from the brewery. Easy to drink, grainy rich, deep with an intense grainy body. Sticky and still drinkable, hints of roast, grain and a moderate dry dusty bitter finish. Nice.

Dunkler, hopfig-malziger Beginn. Steigend hopfig im Hintergrund, moderat herb, milde Süße. Süffig würzig, etwas Alkohol, weich. Alkoholisch-malziger Abgang mit erkennbarer starker Hopfigkeit. 11/9/10/10//11
