Thick, rich, strong, complex. Dry and bittered by the coffee, but full and clean. Great sipping beer. 2019 mikkeller advent calendar

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 30A/20C). Can 33 cl - Batch 26071909 (BBF 26/07/29). AROMA: medium-high coffee aroma, followed by low nuttiness, low molasses, low roasted malt and medium alcohol. APPEARANCE: dark brown body and opaque. medium moussy brown head, with average retention. lace formation. TASTE: medium coffee flavor, followed by medium-low to low roasted malt notes. initial medium to medium-high sweetness that evolves into a slight bitter finish. PALATE: medium-high to high body. medium carbonation. OVERALL: an imperial stout a bit coffee forward and a bit sweet, rendering it slightly hard to drink.

A black beer, a head is medium and brown. Aroma has ricness of malts, coffee, sweetness, some chocolate. Taste has quite lot of sweetness, coffee, some chocolate. Full bodied. Quite sweet but pretty nice.

Appearance is inky black, with a small tan ring but not really any head. Aroma is coffee, tiramisu, chocolate, vanilla, brandy boozy notes, some more vanilla. Taste- chocolate, coffee, toffee, biscuit malt, caramel shortbread, treacle, chocolate cheesecake, roast malt, caramel treacly finish. Very nice.

Opaque deep brown to black, small beige head. Aroma: ground coffee, earth, roasted barley, maple syrup, cinnamon, dried fruit, chocolate. Medium to full body. Taste: light sweet, roasted, lots of coffee, maple syrup, dried fruit, fruity hop. Light bitterness. Very good impy.

On tap at PDX. Not sure how I never rated this since I've had a ton of variants. Pours a pitch black hue with a medium brown head. A big roast and coffee nose. Roast malts, licorice, coffee, ash, some dark fruit. Lovely palate.

The Aromas are coffee, dark malt molasses and metallic. Flavors are like nose, some weird cherry Sweetness in the background. What's going on here Mikkeller? Okay body but sweet medicinal finish.

Can@Lennart's Summer Tasting, Malmö (30/06/2018) - black pour with a tan head. Roasted and sweet malty with prominent coffee roast, some opulent chocolate, caramel, full body, some charred burnt malty accents, dark roasted coffee laden malty finish.
