On tap at the brewpub, Seefeld in Tirol Austria in the company of Jude and Baz, Saturday 16th August 2025. Pours hazy amber with a large white head. Rustic in flavour, pleasant buzz on the tongue, hoppiness leans more towards hedgerow hoppiness, light maltiness, a tiny bit acetic in the mouth but it's not infected, perhaps it's the house style because the Hefe Weiß is similar.

0,2l from tap at Hotel Klosterbräu. Redish/amber hazy color, small white head. Smells bready, spices, light cherries, earthy, tobacco, bit leathery. Overall nice smell. Full body, light carbonation. Tastes bread, spices, earthy, light berry notes, tobacco, spices, light caramel. Finishes lightly bitter with notes of bread, berries and spices. Lovely, great balance, super smooth to drink, yet also good complexity, bavarian style Märzen, not the stuff they call Märzen in Austria. Tastes heavier than just 5.2% Abv
