12 ounce bottle from Woodman's Oak Creek. One of those beers I have seen several times ad assumed I'd already tried, but alas, I had not. Slightly hazy copper, thin foamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of leafy and floral hops. Taste is citrus, leafy hops, pale malt. Medium bodied. Decent, unremarkable.

On draught in Chicago. Clearing amber with off white head. Loads of cereal grain on this one.

Pale, thin head. Not much aroma to speak of. Not much taste on the tongue, aftertaste is a sharp hit of citrus and hops. Palate isn’t too difficult. Decent beer.

A golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light butterscotch, light mineral notes, OK. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, light and smooth. On tap at Clybourn location.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from One Stop Market. Appearance is clear, light amber/orange with minimal sparkle, less-than-finger-width fizzy white head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is lightly fruity hops, over solid caramel, biscuit malt base. Taste is biscuity, lightly toasted malts. Palate is light bodied with thin texture and lively carbonation with finish as taste. Overall, meh.
