Pour is a crystal clear gold with a large white head. Aroma is kind of a weak mixed bag of caramel malt and some hops. Flavor is kind of the same. Pretty heavy on the caramel malt not so heavy on the hops. Watery finish. Nothing special.

Bottle. Orange biscuit malt and metallic orange peel aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Mildly sweet orange malt and moderately bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Body a bit light. Nothing bad but pretty underwhelming - a very basic APA.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 1/14/2016. Pours slightly hazy deep golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon/orange zest, light pepper/pine, honey, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/floral/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon/orange zest, light pepper/pine, honey, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine/herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon/orange zest, light pepper/pine, honey, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/floral/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light dryness from bitterness that lightly increases through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately grainy/bready, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish. Overall this is a nice American pale ale. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/floral/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

On tap at Beer Temple. Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of crackers, light citrus, grain. Flavour is likewise, very dull, lifeless and dusty. Hopless. Light bodied. Utterly forgettable.
