Bottle from the brewery online shop. Appearance - deep amber, a little hazy. Slightly off-white head. Nose - muesli, light toffee and a bit woody. Taste - brown bread, muesli and a bit twiggy. Palate - light bodied, dry malty finish. Overall - ok.

500ml bottle from the brewery. Poured a clear medium amber colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, floral yeasty, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a dry, nutty, light floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Not a great example of the style.

25/1/2020. Bottle bought directly from the brewery. Pours pale brown with a creamy lasting off-white head. Aroma is malty, biscuit, toffee, hops and fruit. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Easy drinking, solid performing bitter.

50cl bottle. A almost clear amber beer with a off-white head. Aroma of red malt, resins, caramel, red fruits. Taste of caramelized red malt, red fruits, cherries, raisins, moderate bitterness.

Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival in KEGS! Almost clear amber beer. Residual suddy white head. Palate is light and semi dry. Subtle caramel in the malt. Dried fruit hops with a touch of citrus. Mild bitterness. Dry finish. Standard stuff.
