Das VALAISANNE Zwickelbier oder auch Bière de Cave ist eine unfiltrierte Spezialität aus dem Wallis. Seine weisse Schaumkrone passt hervorragend zur goldgelben Farbe. Das Zwickelbier ist angenehm süffig und erfrischend, belebt den Gaumen mit leichten Malz- und einer fruchtig, frischen Hefenote. Die Bittere ist kraftvoll, aber fein und rundet das Geschmackerlebnis entscheidend ab.

33cl bottle. A slightly hazy orange golden beer with a white head. Aroma of moderate sweet grainy malt. Taste of sweet dry grainy malt and straw, mild to low bitterness.

Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Dry malty aroma. Starts mild, malty, light sourish-soapy. Fruity hints of lemon. Finish milder, well balanced, light sweetness. Not bad.

bottle from Blaser Kreuzlingen. Hazy brownish golden, tall off-white head. Malty, grainy with a touch of rustic bread. Erathy rural hops with a citrusy touch, pleasantly aromatic, with yeasty hints.

Bouteille (Merci au Lac!): Golden, hazy to cloudy, medium-sized and pretty stable creamy white head, dryish herbal-fruity nose with a distinctive grainy-dusty background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, creamy MF; lingering dry bitter finish. Very good by poor Swiss standards...

Bottle@Jespers - Light hazed golden pour with a white head. Grainy and grassy with some notes of papery cardboard, some corn sweetness, light sweet malty, light to medium body, grassy hoppy bitter close.
