Black Forest Stout. This tastes and smells exactly as it should. Lashings of cream, chocolate and cherry flavours dominate this beer with additions of lactose and cherry. The chocolate flavours are malt derived, with a late mash addition providing the flavour without any astringency or roast.

Many thanks to beersiveknown for this can. Smooth fresh and mild beginning. Dry caramelly with only cherries in the aftertaste. Mlaty dry, grainy. Nice bit not too deep or aromatic.

Can from Bottle Baron. Dark brown body with a thin beige head. Faint lacing. Aroma of cherry, treacle, chocolate and fruit loaf. Flavour of plum, cherries and milk chocolate. Medium body with a creamy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Well balanced and the cherries are a welcome addition.

Draught as part of a sampler. Beautiful robust aroma. Deep brown with tan head. Flavor leans a little toasty VS the smoothness of a milk stout.
