Can. Nose is milk chocolate, coconut, cream, hint of vanilla; bounty bar. Taste is a bounty bar coconut and chocolate, leading to roasted malts, toast, hint of smoke, hazelnut before finishing milk chocolate sweet with a hint of coconut. It’s nice enough but I think would benefit for being richer and bigger.

Musta olut pienellä beigellä vaahdolla. Tuoksu houkutteleva ja vahva; makeahko kahvinen ja maitosuklainen. Maku katkerahko, paahteisen maltainen ja vahva kahvi maistuu selkeästi. Kuitenkin hieman yksiulotteinen maun puolesta. Kookosta en löydä, sitä olisi saanut olla selvästi tuntuvammin mukana.

On tap at St. Augustine’s. Black, tan head. Aroms is chocolate, roasted malt. Taste is coconut, chocolate, roasted malt. Like you are eating a Bounty with black chocolate. Wow! Roasted malt, chocolate, coconut aftertaste.

Pours a dark brown-black from a can, khaki head, some lacing. Aroma is a creamy coffee. Flavor is light roasted coconut, some cofee and bitter chocolate. A bit of bitter metal unfortunately. Thin mouthfeel, like a milk stout, a letdown on that front. Meh.

12 oz. can. Pours dark brown with a large tan head. Aroma is largely roasted malts with chocolate notes, and it has some sweetness. Taste is roasted malt, light chocolate, light coffee, vanilla, and possibly some very subtle coconut. Flavor is mildly sweet, perhaps from the coconut, but is well-balanced overall. A nice porter.

Can from Firma Bier, dated 061915, large sample. Dark brown color, short frothy head. Aroma of cookie, roast, mocha, chocolate, sweet vanilla, candy. Not the bounty candy bar I expected, but more toast and vanilla. Bit roast in taste, roasty bitterness, cocoa, some coconut sweetness. Bit dry in the finish. Love the aroma especially. Good beer.

0,355l can at home. Canned 061915. almost black color, small coffee-colored head. smells of licorice, medical, some artificial coconut quite in the background, some unpleasant vanilla notes, bit metallic. not a big fan of the smell. full to medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of coconut, light vanilla, some licorice, light dark fruits, bit earthy. finishes lightly roasted with notes of coconut and licorice. hmm, overall good stuff, taste is quite nice, did not like the smell very much though. overall enjoyable beer, coconut notes could have been a bit more pronounced, and there is a bit too much vanilla for me. drinkable though.
