"Klassisch-Britisch" und doch international präsentiert sich unser kräftiges Imperial Stout:
Der Aromahopfen stammt aus England, das Malz aus Franken und die Hefe ist eine amerikanische Ale-Hefe.
Und geschmacklich? Eine dunkle "Bombe" mit Noten nach Espresso (wenn besonders kühl getrunken) und/oder Zartbitterschokolade (wenn man sich mehr Zeit lässt). Cheers!

Bottle. Nose is dried fruit, coffee, bread. Palate is a bit rusty, dried fruit. A bit unbalanced.

Eppelein & Friends Schwarzer Prinz, Fläschchen vom Landbierparadies. - Tiefdunkles Rotbraun, eher trüb. - In der Nase sattes dunkles und röstiges Malz, Mokka, Rosinen, ohne die aschigen Noten eines Stout und insgesamt etwas harmlos. - Antrunk tief dunkelmalzig mit schönen Röstnoten und einem Hauch von Moos, die aber durch vernehmliche Restsüße an Kantigkeit verlieren, wie ein zu stark gesüßter Espresso. Nur leichte hopfenwürzige Herbe. Milder rezent, mastig. Auch im Abgang ist der Malzzucker zu prominent und verweist Röstmalz und blasse Hopfenherbe auf die zweiten und dritten Plätze. - Für ein Stout, ein imperial zumal, allzu harmlos, wie Pivnizub zu Recht tadelt. Immerhin nett und süffig. (27.8.2022.)

Fläschla: Deep brown with a ruby sheen, presumably hazy, small persistent tanned foamy layer, moderate sweet-bitter aroma of toasted malt with traces of cacao and dried fruits, english bitterness underneath; moderate to robust sweet-bitter flavour with a light acidity, medium to full bodied, quite soft; slightly lingering sweet-bitter finish with chocolate in the aftertaste. Not bad, but pretty tame...

Bottle shared @ Koelschtrinker's tasting. Smooth malty beginning. Caramel, moderate chocolate grain with hints of bitterness. Dense deep, round and malty. Nice.

33cl bottle. A clear orange brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of dark caramelized malt toffee and some red fruits. Taste of sweet red malt, caramel, toffee.

Süffiger, getreidig malziger Beginn. Muffig herb, das Imperial Stout ist schwer identifizierbar. Trinkbar, geschmacklich her Schwarzbier. 9/8/9/9/8/9

Bottled 330ml. -from Die Bierothek Bamberg. Deep brown (almost black coloured), medium sized beige head, caramel and light chocolate in the nose. Sweet malty, caramel, nutty and touch of milk chocolate with notes of dried fruits in the finish. Also light grainy. Imperial stout only in the name, more likely schwarzbier with alcohol added.
