Light yellow color, actually a bit like champagne, or a Wit. Effervescent, with a medium white head. Sweet, creamy aroma of butter, honey, yeast. I do not really notice buckwheat. Some buckwheat in the flavor, with butter and honey and a bit of lemon, plus flint and something slightly medicinal. Not much hops, and rather thin on the malt. The thin, lean taste doesn’t synch well with the rich honey-butter nose. Interesting, but really not so tasty. Can’t really get too much of a buckwheat flavor, either.
