Bottle @ FOneFan. Clear deep golden with medium off-white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, yeast, spices and a little liquorice. Flavour is malt, medium sweet, yeast, fruit, spices, little liquorice, hop and a little bitter.

Ulfborg Scooper Smagning 2012. Golden with a small white head. Aroma of peach and pineapple, a bit of spice, a bit of alcohol and a mineral note. Sweet fruity and a bit yeasty flavour with notable alcohol heat

Hazy yellow to light orange colour. Smells like hops and orange peel. Tastes like houblon chouffe, same sweetness/hoppyness combination. Good co2 mouthfeel.

Hazy yellow, light orange color, about 2cm pretty vast head. Light sweet, fruits and citrus smell. Taste light sweet and light bitter. Medium to high carbo, medium body.

33cl Bottle from Brouwmarkt. Slightly hazy golden yellow colour, white head. Aroma of pale malts, light sweet fruits, esters, sweet alcohol, apples. Flavour is sweet green apples, malty, alcohol, light sweet fruits, light spicy, spritzy, light bitter finish. Medium bodied. Indeed a nice tripel.

Huge, lightly yellowish head over lively, fine-carbonated glowing orange beer. Creamy nose, slighlty spicy and very yeasty, but rather nondescript. Aromatic, spicy-herbal. Again difficult to describe, but this time it’s balance speaking, rather than absence of features. Mineral, near salty, like a dab of oysterwater (DMS?) Spritzy, rather better bodied than most tripels, with a lasting stickiness backthroat. Intriguing tripel with an absent nose.
