Oranjekleurig bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is krachtig, bitter hoppig, licht zoet en fris. Blijft lang hangen. Erg goede tripel.

Pours bit darker blonde, small white head. Smell is very fruity yeast , and a bit malty underneath. Taste is very yeasty as well, tons of fruityness . Mild bitterness. Very intense in its aspect, but it’s just not my favourite aspect.

27/X/13 - 33cl bottle from Willems (Grobbendonk) @ some holiday residence with my choir - BB: XII/2013 (2013-1004)

Clear orange beer, big irregular off-white head, little stable, slightly adhesive, small chunks floating around in the glass. Aroma: bit spicy, liquorice, almonds, honey, bit floral, sugary. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, pretty bitter and hoppy comes quickly after that, almonds, floral, somewhat fruity. Aftertaste: bitter, almonds, bit sugary, hops, orange peel, grassy, little fruity. Not bad. Standard Belgian tripel.

33 cl. bottle @ home. Procured from Willems. BBF 12/2014. Label promises complex flavours of vanilla & honey. Hazy orange with floaters & fading white head. Sweet oily caramel & indeed cheep honey in the nose, candy sugar, sweet yeast,… Taste is sweet orange peel, light fish guts, sweet BE yeast, cheap honey, white bread, spices, other grains, touch bitter plaster, bitter excess of old BE yeast, caramel, something bitter plastic in the back. Nasty bitter in the back. Oily, yeasty body. Another okayish, dull BE brew that is sort of manageable.

Road soda with Deanso. The aroma is dry and yeasty leading to a bitter alcoholic yeasty flavour with some liqourice notes in the aftertaste. One of the better Tripel's I've tasted!
