Can. This version, canned late 6/22, is 9.6% ABV. Black with a tan head that fades to a fat coat. Aroma of deep roast, toasted coconut, chocolate, some vanilla. Short of syrupy. Avoids the flabbiness of some of these flavoured stouts. Perhaps there's more chocolate in the taste but it doesn't get too sweet - there's firmish roast, a rummy touch of toasted coconut and a fair bit of bitterness. Good.

On tap. Deep brown. Coco choc nose. Lovely roasted coconut predominates, which orange adding interest to this highly pleasing chocolate stout.

Tap at the Abbotsford Brewpub. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a round bubbly, light tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, liqouirce, floral medicinal hop. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter, with a roasty, liqouirce, subtle coconut, light dark chocolate, boozy alcohol bitter palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation. Some not so pleasant flavours in here. The most expensive beer on the board and it was a disappointment. Raw and unrefined.
