Bottle from Crafty Pint. Appearance - orangey red with a decent thin lacy head. Nose - light toffee and oatmeal. Taste - bit like a flapjack, oatmeal and sweet. Hazelnuts on the finish. Like inside a Snickers. Palate - close to medium bodied with creamy texture and a drying finish. Overall - yes good beer.

500ml bottle thanks to AshtonMcCobb. Pours clear amber-brown with a thin white head. Aromas of cocoa, biscuit. Taste is toasted hazelnut, more cocoa powder, caramel. Good body for the strength. Quite a lot going on.

Cask gravity at the Watford beer festival 2014. Mid amber copper with a fleeting head. Aroma is toffee apple, stale musty caramel, flavour is somewhat stale toffee apple, dirt and apple, straw. Palate is medium light grainy, bit watery and thin. Not fussed on this one.

500ml Bottle - Amber in colour. Cocoa, apricot and a hint of orange peel in the aroma. Malty and chocolatey taste with notes of dried apricot, biscuity malt and cocoa. Nicely balanced and very drinkable. A great bitter.

500ml bottle. Copper amber colour, foam white head and malty aroma with some chocolate. Taste is biscuity malt with toffee, chocolate, nutty notes and a light bitterness. Light bodied, soft to medium carbonation, dryish finish. Quite OK.
