Bottle from Darlington railway station. Appearance - copper with a thin head. Nose - a hint of citrus but mostly toffee and biscuit. Taste - bread and toffee. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - solid bitter, not special.

500ml bottle from Head of Steam Museum Darlington. Pours a clear pale golden amber colour, white foam head with malt sour mash aroma. Fizzy dry bitterness, some malt, biscuit, fairly balanced and warms the mouth, leaving a lingering light bitterness. OK.
