Bottle at Mum and Dads, picked up from Tesco Newry, 25/01/23. Golden copper pour with a fast collapsing white head. Nose is bitter sweet apple, light herb, caramel, dusty toffee apple. Taste comprises dusty apples, light herbal notes, hedgerow, apple skins, burnt sugar, cooking apple. Medium bodied, light prickly carbonation, drying close with a light astringent edge. Hmm ... a bit of an odd one ... not terrible has a slightly off note about it ... fobbed it off to the old man whose assessment was 'I've had worse' !

Bottle from Marks & Spencer. Pale gold in colour and fizzy. This was another one of those 4.5% ciders - sweet, pulpy fruit, a flinty edge and not much else. Not for me.

Bottle sample thanks to Paul. Appearance - golden like a morning wee. Initially plenty of bubbles but it calms down a fair bit. Nose - apple skins and dry sharp apple notes. Taste - more crisp apple and skin notes. Palate - medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - good. Crisp indeed!

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Clear pale golden colour, white foam head that dissipates away and aroma of apple, woody oak, funk. Taste is green apple, woody, oak, vanilla, rubber, barnyard, earthy with some tannins. Crisp mouthfeel, medium bodied, medium carbonation, dry earthy tannic finish. OK.

Bottled@Stones, Helsinki. Honey golden colour, no head. Aroma is sweet apples with some mild vanilla, yeastiness as well as some nectary notes. Flavour is sweet apples, some mild green apple tartness as well as nectary and a bit yeasty "thick" flavours. Quite a big cider, even though only being 4.5 % in abv.
