From tap at Café De Hazeburg, Ermelo. Aroma is fruity with stewed fruits, dried apricot, plum, compote, caramel malt, toffee. Flavour is a hefty candied sweetness. Body is above medium, sticky. Not bad, sweet Barley Wine-ish with lots of ripe and stewed fruits.

Aroma has malt, pepper and pear. Sweetish taste with pineapple and orange. Full bodied and a good lacing, clean and fresh palate. Alcohol present, but well hidden. Not very complex, but pleasant enough and the best Burg can offer.

Hazy medium amber colour, small frothy beige head, mostly diminishing, light lacing Fruity aroma, raspberry, brett, barnyard. Taste light heavy sweet and light bitter, sugary. Fruity sweetbitter aftertaste, medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. So so, probably infected.

Bottled@Belgobaren, Stockholm (old backlog from about 2010). Hazy ambery red colour with some particles in it, mediumsized white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet malts, caramel, mild berries, earth, yeast and some slight notes of alcohol as well. Flavour is ripe fruits, alcohol, some toffee, yeast and mild herbal notes. Was a bit lively when opening, so be careful.

33cl bottle @ home shared by Joes. Hazy red color with floaties in it, full fizzy beige, quickly disappearing head. Smell malts, caramel, a hint of cherries, sweetness. Taste malts, slightly caramel, again some cherries, sweetness, lightly alcohol. Medium body and carbonation.
