The appearance of this exceptional beer is matched only by its taste! To make our Framboise, we add raspberry juice to our lambic. That gives it a delicate fruity aroma and a beautiful dark pink colour, just like the dress I wore to our cousin Willy's wedding. (But that's of no interest to you since you undoubtedly don't know Willy). Framboise is served as an aperitif, but I also use it in cooking. And when I don't finish the bottle in my preparations, I finish it in my glass.

[23 Mar 2017] Clear deep cherry red color, small frothy pink head, mostly diminishing, minimal lacing. Fruity nose, aroma sweet malts, raspberry, cherry, bubblegum, candy sugar. Flavour heavy sweet with a light sourish touch, fruity, sugary, syrupy with a sweet and light sour finish, light body, sticky texture, soft carbonation, quite sweet but tasty...
[12 Oct 2021] Bottle 37.5cl. from my 'cellar,'Vintage 2018, @home poured into a tumbler. Deep clear ruby red colour, small fizzy pinkish head, dissipating after a short while, some yeast circles remain. Aroma strong raspberry, marmelade, bubble gum, wood, yeast. Taste heavy sweet and quite sourish, raspberries galore, light woody notes, sugary. Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation, aftertaste as in taste maybe a bit more sourish, original score remains.

0.25 l bottle from Pivoteka, Zagreb. Shared with lovely Anja. Dark red to purple, small pink head. Raspberry, red fruits, candy, fruit topping. Light sour with more sweetness than usual. Light to medium body, soft to medium carbonation, dry sour fruity finish. Actually not bad, except for a pale aroma

25cl bottle. Pours a clear purple colour, with a thin pinkish head. Aroma: sweet raspberries. Taste: syrupy sweet raspberries, tart, hint of sourness as well, very sugary though. Sticky mouthfeel, medium body, average carbonation. Nice but as with most of these sweet fruit lambics 25cl is enough.
