Weird Beard are not surfers but we are pretty new to the professional brewing game. Our first commercial beer is a collaboration with the London Brewing Company and it is a big IPA dry hopped with with the proverbial shit-load of Australian Galaxy hops. Shark Biscuit seemed like an apt name.

Bottle, Londis, Penny Lane, Liverpool. Hazy gold pour with a smallish off white head. Bread, hop and fruit notes present in the nose. Similar traits pervaded the flavour alongside some balancing caramel malts and a little booze. Glaggable enough IPA, not quite Premier League.

33cl bottle @ WilliamK, Kurvi. Batch #0037. Bottled on Nov 13. Deep amber, thick white head. Woody, biscuity aroma, caramel, yeast, fruity. Complex. Perhaps somethong else now than what the brewery intended, but still I find the aroma interesting. Flavor has dark fruits, mango, hops, wood, toffee. Very interesting twist here. So tasty, whatever the style. Now off to Tuska Open Air Festival.

Afteraste was hoppy and bitter. A nice balanced hoppy pale ale.

Bottle at Beer Hunters. Hazy yellow color, medium-sized white head. Aroma has light citrus and vegetables. Medium-bodied. Citrusy, some overriped fruits, vegetables. I think that yeast makes this worse so don’t add it!

330ml bottle from The Bottle Shop. Hazy orangey-brown colour, off-white foam head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of tropical fruits, citrus, hoppy. Taste is malt caramel nicely balanced against citrusy & woody pine hop resin bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, warming dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable.
